Now also with model trains.
This site is mainly for various homemade electronic constructions that is related to R/C model flight and trains. But other electronic constructions can be found here as well. If they are interesting, funny or crazy enough, then they are here.

Dual digital signal and
brake module
Digital signal and brake module for Märklin
digital trains.
Exists in both a compact version, and a version
without smd parts.

New and exciting project for the model
railroad.
Servo Tester 1
My first
servo tester. Based on an Atmel 90S2313 AVR. Add a 1x16 char LCD, 4
push-buttons and a few discretes, and that is it. Controls a single
servo with a resolution of 0.0001 ms. Can also read a pulse width
from a receiver.
Servo Tester 2
This new
servo tester is a complete redesign of my old one.
Featuring the
same high resolution as its predecessor, it is now able to control
two servos independently. It can analyse the servo signal quality
from your receiver. It measures voltage and current under servo load.
It can be used as a tachometer, and with a later software upgrade it
can also be remote controlled from a PC.
It uses a rotary encoder
for fast and intuitive navigation of the menus, which make it even
more simple to use than the old 4-button tester, despite the many new
and advanced features.
LED Fader 2
One of those
crazy things that has absolutely nothing to do with model
airplanes.
The LED Fader 2 uses an Atmel Mega8 or Mega16 AVR to
make 16 PWM outputs, designed for driving a bunch of LEDs. Each
channel has 256 output levels, and are refreshed at 100 Hz.
Led
Fader 2 also provides an entire script language to control the LEDs.
Make your own nice light patterns and colour changing effects.
Be
sure to see the small video of my 67-LED indoor water fountain. It
demonstrates the concept way better than a thousand words.

iCollectTrains
Home
of the iCollectTrains program. If you want to keep track of your
model train collection, then I highly recommend this software. Easy
to use, yet it has some very powerful functions. I use it myself.
